What is Supply Chain Management?
Supply Chain Management (SCM) is the active management of planning, controlling, and execution of a product’s flow, starting from raw material production through distributing to the final customer, in the most effective & efficient ways possible.
The supply chain is made up of multiple organizations that coordinates and integrates their flow of operations to efficiently deliver the product to the final user.
SCM is separately made up of different components, such as production, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
